Someone's nicked my wine!

Someone’s nicked it! It’s gone, stolen, taken from me! The place were it once stood on the foodshelf of this despickable, thief-accomodating hostel is now taken by a green bag with a green sticker on it that says ‘pete’. The bottle, containing an expensive Italian imported Chianti, was nowhere to be seen. Fortunately, ‘pete’ was nice enough to include his room number: 8.

After looking in every nook and cranny in the stinking kitchen of this wretched hostel, and being stupified at this deed of malice, I stormed to room 8 to question this ‘pete’. Unfortunately, everybody there was already asleep. Seeing that is not sure that ‘pete’ was actually involved in the act of illegaly taking possession of my wine by surreptitiously taking it away, and is thus the perpetrator we are looking for, I could not rouse everybody from their sleep as to inquire to who of them is him. Luckily, ‘pete’ also included his date of departure: November 22nd. I will question him tomorrow.
